Despite the current economic downturn and constant reference to the R word, there’s never been a better time to invest in Search Engine Marketing.

googleIn December, Marketing Week surveyed leading UK marketers to find out how budgets would be reallocated. And they’re choosing online. 42% said their digital spend would be increasing. And 56% thought online would take the lion’s share of the marketing business in 2009.

Google submission or adding a site to Google is what most people think of first when they think about marketing their business / website. A report from Hitslink , states that Google has close to 80% of worldwide search traffic and 87% of the UK market share. Google are massive, both in terms of their search engine market domination and their resources that’s why I specialize in Google marketing. That’s not to say Yahoo! and Bing aren’t important, but if you’re going to concentrate on one search engine, it might as well be the biggest.
